Memopezil Testing & Quality
Where it is made, what is tested, what those badges mean — and which of them are marketing language rather than standards.
Memopezil is made in the United States in a GMP facility, and each production run carries a certificate of analysis.
The current lot, MPZ-2026-NY-0847, is documented under certificate COA-MPZ-0847-26 by Hudson Assay Group, New York, covering identity and a purity screen. GMP is a real, auditable manufacturing standard. Several other badges on the label — “natural ingredients”, “doctor formulated” — are unregulated marketing terms, and this page says which is which.
What each Memopezil mark actually means
Manufactured domestically
Good Manufacturing Practice — a real, auditable standard
The facility is registered. The product is not approved.
Label language. Not a third-party certification.
No gluten-containing ingredient on the panel
No dairy-derived ingredient in the formula
An HPMC capsule shell rather than gelatin
A marketing term with no legal definition — read the panel
An unregulated claim. It is not a clinical endorsement.
The one on this list with terms you can hold us to
Four of these ten are meaningful claims with a definition behind them. The rest are marketing language, and we would rather say so than let a wall of badges do work the panel has not earned. The genuinely notable thing about this label is not on the badge wall at all — it is that every active carries a milligram figure.
What happens to a Memopezil production run
Ingredient intake
Raw materials are received against specification. The rhodiola is specified to 3% salidroside, which is a real standardisation rather than a plant name alone — worth noting, because unstandardised botanical extracts can vary widely batch to batch.
Blending and encapsulation
Actives are blended with microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate and filled into HPMC capsules, then bottled and sealed under the cap.
Batch testing
Each run is assigned a lot code and tested. For MPZ-2026-NY-0847 that is identity plus a purity screen, documented on certificate COA-MPZ-0847-26 by Hudson Assay Group, New York.
The standardisation point is worth dwelling on. “Rhodiola rosea extract 100 mg” alone would tell you almost nothing — extract strength varies enormously. “100 mg standardised to 3% salidroside” tells you what is actually in it. That Memopezil bothers to say so is a point in its favour, even though 100 mg still sits below the dose range its research used.
How supplements like Memopezil are regulated in the United States
Dietary supplements are regulated as food, not as drugs. Manufacturers are responsible for the safety and labelling of what they sell, and the FDA acts after a product is on the market rather than approving it beforehand — the FDA sets this out directly. There is no pre-market approval for any supplement, this one included.
This is the difference that the name “Memopezil” risks blurring. Donepezil went through drug approval: efficacy trials, safety review, prescribing information. Memopezil did not, because it is not a drug and does not claim to be. The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements is a good plain-language starting point on what that distinction means for a buyer.
Labelling is governed by 21 CFR 101.36. It would have permitted this manufacturer to hide all five actives in a proprietary blend. It chose not to, and that choice is the most substantive quality signal on the whole label.
Memopezil: tested where it can be, and honest where it cannot.
